Challenge:Target’s recently launched ecommerce platform was experiencing cart abandonment and unusual user paths.
Background:Shopping cart abandonment is a major issue for any online retailer. Reducing cart abandonment through UX improvements is a tactic that offers both immediate and long term commercial results.
Result:By analysing the site ultram analytics and running a series of UX tests, we identified improvement opportunities. Instead of simply delivering a series of UX recommendations, we supported the digital team by educating and explaining the findings, as well as offering guidance on how to continually interpret data.
